    Cancelled Subscription

I cancelled my subscription to ASPNetPro today. I have found it continuously challenging to keep up with periodicals lately due to project deliverables and hectic schedules. While this has been a fine magazine, I have been unimpressed with some authors and articles lately, but more than anything, have found myself weeding through the magazine to pick the one or two articles that are interesting to me.

As a developer, it is crucial, I believe, to stay up to date with the latest technlogies, patterns and practices, and as such, a good, succinct journal is required. One that is both relevant and timely. That journal, I believe is CODE magazine, which features such heavy hitters as Juval Lowy, Markus Egger (publisher), Carl Franklin, and Don Keily and is a magazine that I find myself reading cover to cover (time permitting). The magazine is published only 6 timesĀ a year (every two months), which is a perfect pace to digest all the nuggets buried in the modest sized magazine.
