    Business will never stop to lend empathy to engineering concerns such as process, standards, sexy technology or tools. Such things are mere implementation details and are of no concern to a company on the move.

    If you want to affect change, first figure out what the business wants and then explain how the proposed engineering improvements will serve to meet those needs.

    Then, exceed expectations.
